How Velara began

Velara started with a simple frustration: ingredient lists that read like chemistry exams, and marketing that promised everything and explained nothing. We set out to build a beauty house where every formula could be explained in a sentence — and would still perform like the best in the category.

Today, Velara spans skincare, makeup, haircare, fragrance and body care, developed with independent labs and tested on real skin, in real routines — not just in a lab report.

Our ingredient philosophy

We favor proven actives — vitamin C, retinol, hyaluronic acid, ceramides — at effective concentrations, paired with sustainably sourced botanicals. If an ingredient doesn’t improve how a formula performs or feels, it doesn’t make the cut.
